The Wikipedia entry for Gino's Hamburgers links to a "history of Gino's" at http://members.aol.com/jsf0864/page1.html. That page says that: 1. The restaurant was founded in 1957, and renamed "Gino's Hamburgers" when Marchetti became a partner in 1959 2. All locations were company owned, not franchises. 3. Louis Fischer and Joe Campanella were also founding partners (in 1957).

Does anybody have a citation either way to resolve these conflicts?
