[edit] Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/10th Kingdom character articles
Both Vary and I seem to think that if the articles are radically shortened and put in a list of 10th Kingdom characters (per WP:FICT for lesser important characters), there'd be no need for deletion. I'd even be willing to do the grunt work. Would you please return to the deletion debate and consider changing your vote to a shorten, merge and redirect into a list? - Mgm|(talk) 09:29, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Middle-earth tense
Thnks for your recent edits to the Middle-earth related articles. I have only one objection: using of present tense. WP:WAF indeed states that articles on fictional characters are to be written in present tense, but M-e related pages are among the few exceptions. The reason is that not a book plot is being discussed, but rather a history of a world - indeed, as JRRT himself wrote, the history of our own world. A consensus was reached on WT:Me to use past tense, and before editing pages to present the discussion at least must be renewed - though there's little hope in changing current standards.
