Gillian Bevan (born 13 February 1950) is a well established British actress, well known and recognised for her roles in British tevelision shows. Gillian Bevan was born in Stockport, Cheshire in England, UK.
Most recently she is recognised for her moving portrayal of Gina Hope in UK Medical Drama Holby City. She played the wife of Consultant, Elliot Hope in the drama, who was struck with Motor Neurone Disease. The character made the decision to go and end her life by euthinasia in Switzerland, and her touching performance won critical acclaim.
She is also recognised for playing Clare Hunter, the Head Teacher in UK TV Series, "Teachers".
Gillian has also appeared in UK TV Series including: Heartbeat, Doctors, New Tricks and in the 1990's, Peak Practice.
