Gilberto Ariel Velázquez Gómez (born March 11, 1983) is footballer from Paraguay, who currently plays for Olimpia Asunción. He was transferred to the Chilean team Colo-Colo prior to the 2007 Apetura Tournament. However, he only made three appearances with the club, all three coming very early on in the season. Before playing for Colo-Colo, he spent three years in his home land playing for Guaraní.
