Gilat (Hebrew: גילת‎, lit. Joy) is a moshav in the western Negev desert in Israel located between Beersheba and Ofakim. Founded in 1949 by immigrants from Tunisia, its name is derived from the Book of Isaiah, 35:2: "It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing" (Hebrew: פרח תפרח אף גילת ורנן‎).

The moshav is part of the Merhavim Regional Council.
