Gil Weinberg

Gil Weinberg is a musician, inventor, and educator. He was born in Jerusalem in 1967. He serves as the Director of Music Technology at Georgia Tech.[citation needed] He was the creator of the first robotic musician and other experimental musical instruments and controllers such as the Beatbug and the Musical Shaper.
Weinberg received his MS and PhD in from MIT Media Lab, and an undergraduate degree from Tel Aviv University.
