Gil Andersen (sometimes misspelled Anderson) (27 November 1879 – 26 July 1935) was an Norwegian-American racecar driver active during the formative years of auto racing. Born in Horten, Norway, he competed in the first six Indianapolis 500 races. He later became a full citizen of America, and worked as an engineer for Stutz, then for Revere Motor Company, in Logansport, Indiana, where he died, in 1935.
