Gijón Baloncesto S.A.D. is a basketball team based in Gijón, Asturias (Spain). The team currently plays in league LEB Plata.

Gijón Baloncesto was established in 1982, after taking over the franchise of another local team , Real Grupo de Cultura Covadonga, who was undergoing finantial difficulties. Gijón Baloncesto played in the top spanish competition, the ACB league, during seasons 1995-1996, 1999-2000, 2000-2001 and 2001-2002.
