[edit] Summary

I took this image of sakura (Japanese cherry trees bred more for their flowers than their fruit) during a hanami (flower-viewing) party in Gifu, Gifu prefecture, Japan, in the spring of 2006. This image has been modified from the original picture my digital camera took; I rotated and cropped it, and applied sharpening and color-balancing. Please contact me with your email address if you'd like me to send you the original, unmodified image.
