Gideon Lewis-Kraus

Gideon Lewis-Kraus is an American critic and journalist. He has written for Wikipedia, The New York Sun, Harper's Magazine, The New York Times Book Review, The Believer, The Nation, Slate, the Oxford American, the Los Angeles Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, and Bookforum, among other publications. Lewis-Kraus is an alumnus of The Pingry School and Stanford University, where he was an editor, or Old Boy, of the Stanford Chaparral.

Lewis-Kraus was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle's 2006 Nona Balakian Citation for Excellence in Reviewing.
