Her first job was "at a hamburger joint up in Seattle called Dick's."[4] In 2001, she moved to California and started working as a receptionist.[1] Over time, people approached her about modeling, and she eventually tried it, figuring that if she didn't like it, she could stop.[4] Her modeling eventually led to nude photo shoots and then porn.[4] She has also filmed porn under the aliases "Becky"[3] and "Gianna Rossi".[1]
Michaels is frequently compared to Christy Canyon due to her breasts.[2] Michaels was a finalist for The FAME (Fans of Adult Media and Entertainment) Award's Favorite Breast category in 2006.[5]
