GHOST KASEN was born in Chicago, Illinois. He attended San Francisco State University where he studied Business with an Art Minor. Art and music soon became his main focus.
In 1998, after moving to Houston, Texas, GHOST started the company POSITIVE ENTERTAINMENT PRODUCTIONS. He began work on his first project, writing and working as Executive Producer on a new television pilot; “HOOK IT UP,” (1998) a dating game show. During the taping of this pilot, he met an upcoming music producer, 7 AURELIUS. They soon became close partners in their business pursuits. GHOST collaborated with 7 who was working under Houston based Record Label RAP-A-LOT RECORDS (2001).
The year 2001 is when a major break came for GHOST and 7 Aurelius. New York based Record Label, MURDER INC., enlisted 7’s producing skills. This quickly placed GHOST into the Music Industry on its top level. He then became 7’s Road Manager and worked in production with A-list artists including JA RULE, ASHANTI, IRV GOTTI, JENNIFER LOPEZ, MARIAH CAREY, MARY J. BLIGE, and JANET JACKSON (2002-2004).
Based in New York, GHOST furthered his career in Artist Management and A&R. His first task was scouting and forming a new band. His search for the nations most talented members stretched from New York to Los Angeles. The result of his efforts created the five-man band, DOUBL 07, Murder Inc.’s first band. This project helped hone his skills in music production and co-producing.
One year after joining Murder Inc., GHOST and 7 branched out on their own to create and build AURELIUS PRODUCTIONS (2004). GHOST’S scouting talents for Aurelius Productions proved golden, he introduced the upcoming singer, FELICIA CELESTE. Felicia is currently featured on JA RULE’S THE LAST TEMPATION (2004) album as the third released single, “MURDER REIGN.”
Now based out of Los Angeles, GHOST currently operates the Artist Management and A&R for 7TH SIGN ENTERTAINMENT. He is also CEO and Head Producer of GRIND MODE PRODUCTIONS. He works with producing partner PREACH, President of GRIND MODE PRODUCTIONS.
GHOST is actively producing soundtracks and working with various artists. He currently wrapped a soundtrack for the feature film NATASHA (2006), shot in the UK and is now in post production. GHOST is working on a soundtrack for a film made for T.V., RENT CONTROL featuring CARMEN ELECTRA and MELISSA JOAN HART (2006). He is also in production with UK superstar MATT GOSS who has sold 17 MILLION records worldwide. GHOST currently Co-Produced G-UNIT artist SPIDER LOC’S new record (2007) and also Co-Produced “R U COMING WIT ME” with 7 AURELIUS featuring JA RULE (2007). GHOST just finished producing “GIRL GOTTA GIRLFRIEND” with MAMS TAYLOR featuring SNOOP DOGG (2007).
GHOST with partnerJUAN CARLOS MAZORRA started a Film/Video Production company DREAM STAR PICTURES. They have produced a great slate of mainstream videos with A-list artists. A project real is available for viewing.
GHOST is also developing several film projects. He has completed writing a T.V. series STREET DREAMS, true stories of a modern day hustler. GHOST is co-writing the film THE WRONG ROUTE with director JUAN CARLOS MAZORRA.
