[edit] Question
Does anyone have any idea which one is the usual action scene music? Like the music that plays when they(They being Section 9) infiltrate the geisha house in SAC 1st gig's first episode? Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.
[edit] Revert
I reverted Parlen134's changes. Although they were done in good faith, they had no reason to be:
The first change was to remove the original Japanese names. Now I may be wrong, but as far as I know, there is nothing against using the original language, as long as the translation is there, and it was. Total removal of the Japanese is not right. We could however go for a "English name/Original Japanese name:###" style. Maybe the best would be to use Wikipedia's Japanese Manual of style recommendations?
Furthermore, all the en dash (–) were change to hyphen (-). According to WikiProject Albums, you need to do exactly the opposite.
Finally, if we do stick to the English names, you have to remember that most of the titles specifically DON'T have capitalization.

[edit] Caps
I'm a bit confused about the last edit. The comment was "these titles are not capitalized", and the modification was to ADD caps??? The link provided was japan's wikipage, were the japanese titles were in katakana anyways, so I'm not sure what that proves (especially since linking to another wikipedia isn't really a reference, it might as well be saying "look", they got it wrong too".
Anyways, for titles with english names they aren't capitalised, that's for sure. I'd guess the english translations shouldn't be either. I guess we can do whatever we want for the nihongo transcription.
For "monochrome", was changing it back with a capital for the english name a mistake? I guess the last edit was a revert, where a previous typo had left it with a cap. If not, then we might as well add caps to "yakitori" too, for example.Happypal 01:24, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Early pressing variant.
Other than the variant track times and such, is the early pressign more valuable than the standard form? ThuranX 22:17, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] "run rabbit junk" sung by HIDE?
Most of the other info I've seen (e.g. here, here, here) says that "run rabbit junk" was sung by 高橋ひでゆき (Hideyuki Takahashi), not by HIDE. I'll correct it in a few days unless someone disputes this. Gardnerman 00:23, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
- Well, The CD's booklet credits the song as: "run rabbit junk; vocal:HIDE words:Tim Jensen music:Yoko Kanno"
- I wouldn't know if HIDE is actually one of Hideyuki Takahashi's aliases, but it's probably that. There are no pipe links, so it's all the same I think. I guess the best would be to change it to something like "Vocals: HIDE(Hideyuki Takahashi)".happypal (Talk | contribs) 10:52, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:GITS-OST1.jpg
Image:GITS-OST1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
