Ghoul is an extreme metal band that specialize in combining thrash metal and death metal. Its members claim to be mutants and monsters from the fictional hamlet of Creepsylvania, recording thrash metal onto wax cylinders provided by the town's Curio Shoppe owner, the mysterious Mr. Fang. The band is unique in their blending of hardcore punk attitude meets old school death metal with riffs highly inspired by old thrash metal and crossover thrash bands of the 80s[citation needed].

  • Cremator (Bass, Vocals) - The pyromaniac bastard son of a Parisian prostitute, his childhood was spent working for a blacksmith until his adoptive father mysteriously died in a kiln explosion which left Cremator missing most of the lower half of his face. Responsible for an advice column on Ghoul's website, "Ask Cremator".
  • Digestor (Guitar, Vocals) - The son of a mad Trappist monk and a syphilitic gypsy, Digestor's childhood was spent as a carnival freak, "The Amazing Melting Boy" until he found his way to Creepsylvania and discovered a love of Thrash Metal (which is outlawed in Creepsylvania).
  • Dissector (Guitar, Vocals) - A large maggot created by the Swamp Hag to feed on the scraps of Ghoul's victims, Dissector hatched amongst the sound of Ghoul's practice room and immediately learning the songs, joined the trio as lead guitarist.
  • Fermentor (Drums, Vocals) - Thought to be the result of an abortion gone wrong, Fermentor was discovered in an alcoholic stupor in Yugoslavian vineyard. A master brewer and winemaker, he is now responsible for brewing "Rotgut"; moonshine made from the fermented corpses of those unfortunate enough to meet Ghoul.

  • Mr. Fang - The Curio Shoppe owner and secret benefactor of Ghoul.
  • Zuryalda - The Swamp Hag who birthed Dissector and has placed a curse on the townsfolk of Creepsylvania.
  • The Ghoul Hunter - A mercenary out to kill Ghoul, presumed deceased after an explosion at the end of Maniaxe. huge D-bag
  • Kill-bot - The creation of the Ghoul Hunter to kill Ghoul, the Kill-bot was reprogrammed to attack it's master and both were presumed destroyed. Kill-bot was resurrected on the album Splatterthrash by the Cult of the Hunter, also known as the Christo-Fascist Cult, and given Walt Disney's brain.
  • The Cult Leader - A shadowy figure with a mechanical arm and electric red eyes, introduced on Splatterthrash, who resurrected Kill-bot. Head of above mentioned "Cult of the Hunter."
  • Gore Boar/Billy - A young Creepsylvanian who changed into a gigantic wereboar (like a werewolf) upon contact with an ectoplasmic goo emanating from the Crystal Skull that was in Ghoul's possession. Billy was a young metal nerd before the mutation, and after the mutation, got his revenge on those who had tormented him before.
  • Baron Samedi - A Houngan priest introduced at the end of Splatterthrash who is journeying to Creepsylvania.

  • The Ghoul demo included a cover of The Misfits' "Ghouls Night Out".
  • Though members wear costumes and perform under pseudonyms, it is believed members of the band also play in California's Impaled and Dystopia.
