[edit] Nazi ghettos, not "German ghettos"

The latter term, which I corrected, is a misleading juxtaposition. Writing "Nazi" rather than "German" avoids the ambiguity that the ghettos were "German" in any other sense, which is inappropriate both geographically and demographically.

A similar point has lately (early 2006) been raised by the Poles, who object to the widespread usage of the term "Polish concentration camps" and recommend instead, "Nazi concentration camps in Poland." I subscribe to and recommend this more cautious and correct phrasing. Deborahjay 03:18, 1 June 2006 (UTC) Not Nazi concentration camps in Poland but rather German concentration camps in Poland. [edit] Jewish Ukrainian history

Why Jewish Ukrainian history category? No uprising in Ukraine in the text.Xx236 13:25, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
