Ghakka Mitter is a village situated 2 kilometers east of Wazirabad city. The village,s first Nazim was Waqas Iftikhar Cheema and second Nazim is Mian Muhammad Iqbal.90% of the cultivated land around the village is owned by the Cheema family who have a 600 years old history in the village. second largest caste is Arain, who maintain good relations with the Cheema cast. 70% families have one or more than one member of the family in abroad to earn their livings. But mostly are still attached with the agriculture profession.
