[edit] Overview

The Amoeba Boys spread their sickness to the entire town-even the girls! Can they overcome their sneezing and snuffling to save the day?

[edit] Summary

In the main streets of the city of Townsville there is a market street in which a particular orange stand has been placed... Nearby, a "major" petty crime is being plotted by the Amoeba boys. The three gang leader plans for them to steal an orange as there first big break in the criminal industry and finally crown them crime lords. Unfortunately, when they make the break for it after one of the members swipes the orange, it's not until they get too far away they find out he didn't.

No matter how much they try, the trio can never seem to force a serious fist from the Powerpuff Girls. So in the days final attempt to break the law, the Ameoba Boys stand on a lawn that a sign specifically states to: "keep off grass". However their plan somewhat backfires when absolutely no one comes to confront them over this. Despite that, they still try to wait for days both cold and rainy for someone to raise a fuss, before finally giving up. By then, they were terribly ill and had a terrible cough that apparently sprayed phlegm with each nasty cough.

Upon passing another fruit stand they spread the virus to the fruit stand merchant → He coughs and/or sneezes over the apples (contaminating them) just as an unsuspecting civilian passes quickly "buying" one and biting into it, immediately infecting himself→ He then gets on a bus full of people, and the chain reaction continues, effectively contaminating almost the entire population of Townsville.

At Pokey Oaks Kindergarten, Blossom receives word from the mayor of his own infection, she tells him to, "Get lots of rest and drink plenty of liquids", not yet knowing the seriousness of the widespreading ailment. It's not until an ice-cream truck crashes outside the Kindergarten, that they start suspecting something terribly wrong. The driver sneezes all over them before passing out. So they head to the center of town to investigate.

Things were very much in a mess by the time the got there.

People hung from windows seemingly lifelessly, citizens lay in the street and on sidewalks unconscious and cars fell scatters and overturned...with critically sick people under them. But on top of all things the Amoeba Boys are back STILL trying to convince the girls of their criminal worth. This goes on leading to Buttercup losing her temper and accosting them into leave town.

On there way back home to consult the Professor, the virus finally takes it's toll on all three of them at once very much slowing them down.

At home, the connection is finally made by the professor exactly how the disease started in the form of "a hunch," and it is declared crucial to find a retrieve the Amoeba Boys for a vaccine.

Wasting no time, they cover considerably little distance before losing consciousness in midair. As luck may have it, they are found by the Amoeba Boys with knapsacks in "hand"(?) who agree to cooperate if taken with a fight. The girls barely sustain this end of the bargain but manage to satisfy them into going back to the Professors lab, where he synthesizes a vaccine which restores order but mainly good health upon Townsville.

The Amoeba Boys are then released much to there dismay, and Bossman exclaims that they "Shoulda taken da orange!"
