[edit] Gertrude Gabl or Gertrud Gabl? Which is correct?

I think the most important issue in this article is to get the spelling of her name (and the title of this article) right.

Most pubished sources I've read say "Gertrud", including the book "21 Years of World Cup Ski Racing", a history written by World Cup founder Serge Lang in 1986. Their website also lists it as "Gertrud" (see http://www.skiworldcup.org/load/champions/women/gabl/01.html). Ski-db.com also has "Gertrud" (http://www.ski-db.com/db/profiles/wgblge.asp). However, the official FIS website currently lists her as "Gertrude" (see [1]). It seems that "Gertrud" is the spelling used during her skiing career (and probably the correct spelling as well), but I'm not certain.
