The Great Marsden From Liverpool, of You will never walk alone fame is actually an Evertonian. This fact is well known in Liverpool, that he changed his loyalty following the Green Serpent that is cash, into the Kop end of Anfield.

More recently The Freudian slip on Look North West (May 2006) When Marsden was asked about the late Freddie (of the dreamers), he said "He was a good manc (unian) we used to talk about football when Everton played Man United". He then corrected himself and said "I mean Liverpool"
