[edit] Name and paternity

I can't find a reliable reference for his father. Some sources state that it was Fred Ashmore, others that Fred was his uncle and that his father was Joe Ashmore. I am also having trouble finding a reference that states his full name was Gerald Ashmore, this is not neccessarily derivable from his being referred to as Gerry. The only full name listing I have is for a Joseph Frederick Harold Ashmore. Anyone got anything better? Pyrope 08:35, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
