There was in 2006 one former defence minister in germany who said germany should build up it's own nuclear bomb. But there wasn't any big debate in german society and political staff. Ok such things won't be debate much in public.--134.147.117.56 10:09, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Maybe it should also be mentioned that in 1957 the leading german nuclear scientists started a boycott on adenauer`s idea of a german nuclear arsenal. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G%C3%B6ttinger_18

Also it's interesting that in 2007 the french president ask germany offically if germany and france should share the power of nuclear weapons and germany so also have the chance to get weapons of mass destruction. see: [1] [2] --134.147.31.157 16:47, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
