Gerardo Bonilla

Gerardo Bonilla is a professional race car driver in the actory Mazda/BK motorsports team. He currently drives a Lola B07 in the ALMS LMP2 class along with co-driver Ben Devlin. The car is powered by Mazda's MZR-R engine and is sponsored by Mazda and British Petroleum.
Accomplishments:
- 2005 - winner of the Skip Barber National Championship.
- 2006 - Star Mazda Expert Champion [1]
- 2007 - IMSA Lites series champion [2]
- 2008 - Driver in the American Le Mans Series (ALMS).
Gerardo has worked as an instructor for Skip Barber, most often at Sebring Raceway. His career in motorsports started with participation in amateur autocross events.
