Geranosaurus (meaning "crane reptile") is the name given to a dubious genus of dinosaur from the Early Jurassic. Its only known fossil is a jaw discovered in South Africa. Because of the few remains, it is considered a nomen dubium. It is classified as an ornithischian based on the jaw.
The type species, Geranosaurus atavus, was described by Broom in 1911.
