Gerakas (Xanthi), Greece

Gerakas (Greek: Γέρακας, previously known as Atmantzeli) is a settlement in the Xanthi prefecture of Greece (Longitude: 24° 49'36" E, Latitude: 41° 11' 35" N) It is located 14 kilometers east of Stavroupolis and 14 kilometers southeast of Xanthi. In 1981, the population of Gerakas was around 631 inhabitants. In 1991, the population declined to around 47 inhabitants.
