[edit] Help Request
{{helpme}} How do I make change to an article that redirects to another article. Like for example, I feel that a certain article should not be redirected but have its own page. How do I do that? (Georgexx316 (talk) 14:59, 29 January 2008 (UTC)). Thankx!
- Hey there! To edit a page that normally redirects, navigate to the page you want to edit. You will be taken to the redirect page, but at the top there will be a short sentence that says "redirected from xxxxxxxx" where xxxxxxxx is the title of the page you navigated to. This should take you to the page you want to edit. Click "edit this page" and you should be on your way! If you have any other questions, feel free to respond here or on my talk page. Best regards! --omtay38 15:11, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] 2nd Help Request
{{helpme}} How do I become a Wikipedia moderator? Someone who stops spams and stuff. I really would like to do that. What would I have to do to become one? Thanks! (Georgexx316 (talk) 15:14, 29 January 2008 (UTC))
- Becoming an Administrator on wikipedia is quite a bit of work. Administrators are nominated and discussed by the community at large because this is the community they will serve. However, you do not need to be an administrator to revert vandalism. I would suggest checking out the Recent changes patrol. If you have any other questions, feel free to respond here or on my talk page. Happy editing! --omtay38 16:11, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
