Tait was born to Patricia Ann Tait & Donald James Tait on October 14th 1983 in Garden City Michigan. At the age of 5, Tait began studying the art of magic and magic theory and began performing. His first show at age five was set in front of an audience of 300 in a school gymnasium. He performed three classics of magic: The Cups & Balls, The Linking Rings, and the Chinese Sticks. Tait soon began to find more interest in, not the physical mechanical secrets of magic but the psychology behind what makes magic work. This naturally lead him into studying psychology at the University level and lead into the performance of his current show that explores various ways to influence the human mind, "Mind Tapped".

To date Tait has written over ten different books geared towards those who entertain in the craft as well as made countless contributions to other publications and projects in his field. These titles have gone on to reach international acclaim within the magic community. Tait's creations may be seen in the acts of some of today's top magic professionals. 2008 saw the publication of Tait's first book written for the general public, titled "Mind Tapped with George Tait". "Mind Tapped with George Tait" contains 75 different mind games you can use to mess with your friends.

In June of 2002, Tait wrote, directed, produced, and starred in. his one man show titled: How to Kill a Piano. This dark and twisted comedy combined Tait's skilled piano playing with his long love of how to kill a piano postermagic, side show stunts, and theatre. The production followed the fictitious life of Tait's love/hate relationship with the instrument and explored the darker side of the piano's growth from a seed of evil. Imagine Wile E. Coyote vs. the Road Runner, but replace the coyote with Tait's quick wit, and snappy dialog, and replace the road runner with a baby grand piano. Only then will you have a chase that takes so many twists and turns that it will make your head spin. How to Kill a Piano was a multimedia production involving live action, pyrotechnic special effects, music and projected media.

The work is now being created into a Comic Book Project that will see release sometime in 2009.

Tait currently holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Media, Film & Psychology from Easter Michigan University and resides in Ypsilanti, MI.
