My name is Jeff Delices. I am a second year student at LaGuardia Community College. My major is Liberal Arts. My field of studies is radio broadcasting, after my four years of college; I would like to pursue a career as a radio personality. My interest in radio comes from my love for music. I think music is the greatest form of expression. As a radio personality, I would like to bring together all genres of music. Radio station today tends to focus in on one form of music, giving listener a fixed play list. I think there should be a radio station that plays every genre and every artist from old school to new school. I currently host my own radio show at LaGuardia’s radio station it is very different from other radio station because it is web radio station. The only way to listen to this station is on the internet. Having my own show is a great experience, it gives me responsibilities I never had before such as creating my play list and planning a theme for each show. On my show, I play all genre of music and review music from albums I enjoy and some I dislike. Aside, from radio I also have an interest in other forms of media. For example, film and print. I would like to have a better understanding of all forms of media. Todays medium has alot of influence on our generation. And I would like to help change it for the better. After I graduate, I plan on going to City College to continue my studies in radio broadcasting. I hope that everything will fall into place. I do not many goals, the only goal I have is to be completely different from everyone else. I like to create my own path and follow my own trend
