Template talk:GeoTemplate/sandbox/service

Can the CSS to apply the icons be used so that it works when the classes aren't at the table cells, but in the links and possibly the table itself if it's given a class name? I'm having doubts of it working, but it would be useful: There are many kinds of different services, and making the same service table support all the types and then have to use that table in all sections even though most sections won't have all the types, is a bit too restrictive. It would be consistent though, but we would waste much of the space saved by the proposed change just on empty columns. I was thinking of the following kind of structure for GeoTemplate:
{|
! Service
! Map
! Satellite
! etc
|-
| Name
| {{/link|type=map|http://foo}}
| {{/link|type=aerial|http://bar}}
| ...
|}
This would be much more flexible, but is it possible with the icon CSS? --Para (talk) 14:52, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
