[edit] Not definite until South Central Jurisdiction of the Methodist Church Signs Off

Despite the various announcements, this is still not a done deal until the South Central Jurisdiction of the Methodist Church approves this. The Jurisdiction which actually owns SMU will meet this summer. There is controversy within the church whether the bishops overstepped their bounds in approving the library. I made those edits on both the SMU and Methodist pages and sometime back but neglected to put them here also. I softened the lead to reflect the possibilty. As a rule of thumb no event in the future is ever definite until the key is turned and that's why there is usually a "future events" disclaimer on these types of articles.
