[edit] Removal of internal links

The internal links which have recently been removed are to notable historical figures. As per WP:RED, their removal suggests these are non-notable and will mostly likely never have an article. Also the link to George Davenport (football coach) is to disambiguate from Template:TSUFBCoach from which this article was originally linked to. 72.74.197.181 (talk) 09:01, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

As I understand it, again reading over WP:RED, red links are only discouraged when they are to "non-notable" people, places, etc. I've created the articles in question, although I don't understand the problem of adding links even if the articles themselves don't yet exist. In fact, the vast majority of the articles I've created through Wikipedia:Articles for creation have been through red links. 71.184.49.20 (talk) 23:38, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
