As per discussion at the Jobs sub-project of WPFF, this article will be merged into Final Fantasy character classes unless there is convincing argument to be made that it's notable enough for its own article. Most of the information on this page could be merged into the individual games' pages as well as the main character classes article. I agree. The article itself has some information (abilities, modifiers, etc) that does not fit Wikipedia (no advice, suggestions, tutorials, guides, manuals per 8th information policy). That information can be moved to a Wikibook (or to StrategyWiki – I haven't contributed there, although I was suggested to use it).. -- ReyBrujo 00:06, 22 May 2006 (UTC)

I just noticed that the merge template was removed with the comment that this should be expanded to include geomancers in other games. That would be better suited to Geomancer (character class), not to this article. If someone wants to create that page with mentions of other geomancers I will be sure that this page redirects to the Geomancer's mention on Final Fantasy character classes.
