The reference to the "Doctor Breeze" and "Undertaker Breeze" are in fact creations of Ian Fleming, author of the James Bond books.

In "Geology and landforms": "Jamaica and the other islands of the Antilles evolved from an arc of ancient volcanoes that rose from the sea millions of years ago."
This volcanic arc explanation more correctly applies to the Lesser Antilles, not the Greater Antilles and Jamaica. This section needs work. If no one else would like to jump in and take care of it, I'll locate the appropriate articles/papers to cite, and get to it as soon as possible.
[edit] coasts
quote: The western coastline contains the island's finest beaches, stretching for more than six-hundred kilometers along a sandbar at Negril.
Not sure what the author's intent was, but there most definately are not 600km of beaches in Negril. Long Bay is 7mi long (~11km). Pazagresiva 00:06, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
