Chicago is NOT known as windy because of the wind. It is known as the "Windy City" because in the late 1800s, early 1900s, our our politicians were known as windy. Our politicians would not shut up. [1] Don't put that information back. --76.214.201.100 22:38, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
