[edit] incorrect capitalisation

I changed the capitalisation of the lemma (and of geographic information system) to correspond to other sciences (and general spelling rules for common/proper nouns). It wouldn't be correct to capitalise "physics" or "theory of relativity" either. BTW, it's confusing for non-experts that according to the name it's a science, but the article calls it a theory. --Espoo 12:59, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Additional information

Good start. In addition, consider adding link(s) and/or various addedums related to information science (IS) - moreover, research topics w/in IS that the existing entry for Geographic Information Science loosely touches on already; for example:

relevance / precicion vs. recall / information seeking behavior / cognitive modeling of the user / information visualization

Just brainstorming, but those can all be applied to this entry in some meaningful fashion. Thanks, and keep up the good work!
