Talk:Geoffrey Charles Tasker Keyes
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tasks: 1. where did he get his MC and Croix de Guerre?? Litani River??
2. Check whether he was still part of No11 Commando - elsewhere it says this (and Layforce) had been disbanded several months before
3. date of birth (he was 24 when he died)
In The Grand Alliance, Churchill says that "fifty men of the Scottish Commando, under Colonel Laycock" were sent on the attack. This suggests that the Scottish Commando is distinct from No11 Commando, an English regiment. Lorangriel 19:45, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
