Why deleted someone the page and just set a link to Mr. Hoons Labour Party Site?

Geoff Hoon was predominant in pushing for the proposed European constitution. Why is there nothing on this?

I find it difficult to believe that a new graduate was appointed as a lecturer in the department that had just awarded his bachelor's degree. More likely he was a research student.
