State Route 371 begins with its intersection with S.R. 9 southwest of Cumming, Georgia and travels to the north, through unincorporated, but rapidly growing, areas of Forsyth county, before reaching its northern terminus at S.R. 20 near the community of Ducktown. While the short route has little statewide significance, it does serve as an important connector for local traffic in the area. It is also known as Post Road.
