State Route 253 is a north-south state route located in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Georgia. From the route's southern terminus at Lake Seminole, the route runs east-northeast to Bainbridge, where the route turns and continues north to its northern terminus at State Route 91 southwest of Newton. The route has a banner route, State Route 253 Spur, that runs from the State Route 253 mainline north to U.S. Route 84/State Route 38 in Bainbridge.
