Georges Montefiore-Levi

Georges Montefiore-Levi (1832 - 1906) was a Belgian inventor of Jewish origin who invented phosphorus bronze[1]. He was also an active philanthropist. One of Belgium's oldest engineering schools, the "Institut Montefiore" in Liège bears his name.
