George Washington Memorial Park is a cemetery located in Paramus, in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. [2] It was established in 1939 as a "whites only" cemetery. [1]

- Luther Vandross (April 20, 1951 – July 1, 2005) eight-time Grammy-winning American R&B and soul singer and songwriter.[3]
- O'Kelly Isley, Jr. (December 25, 1937 – March 31, 1986) one of the founding members of the legendary family group, The Isley Brothers.[3]
- Clyde McPhatter (November 15, 1932 – June 13, 1972) influential African-American R&B singer.[3]
- Elston Howard (February 23, 1929 - December 14, 1980) catcher, left fielder and coach in Negro League and Major League Baseball who played most of his career for the New York Yankees.
- Jedh Colby Barker (June 20, 1945 - September 21, 1967) United States Marine Corps Lance Corporal who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for heroism during the Vietnam War in September 1967.[3]
