Another cricketer who played for Derbyshire during the 1887 season was named George Ratcliffe.

George Ratcliffe (November 9, 1982 — December 31, 1949) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who represented Derbyshire in 1919.

Ratcliffe played for Derbyshire as part of an Australian Imperial Forces tour of England in 1919, as a tailend batsman.
