George Ebbs

George Ebbs was an Irish soccer player during the 1920s and 1930s.
Ebbs was a striker who played for Bohemians and St James's Gate F.C. in the League of Ireland He had his greatest success at St James Gate after moving from Bohemians in September 1932. He was an instant success at the club and was top scorer in the League of Ireland that season with 20 league goals.[1]
After retirement, he emigrated to England and became a priest. He was prison chaplain at Pentonville.[1]
