George Chapla is a former U.S. soccer player who spent the 1975 season with the Hartford Bicentennials of the North American Soccer League (NASL). On August 28, 1975, he scored a goal for the U.S. Olympic soccer team in a 4-2 loss to Mexico in a 1976 Summer Olympics qualification game. The U.S. failed to qualify for the tournament.
