George Brant Bridgeman (1864-1943) was an artist, teacher and author. He taught life-class at the Art Students League, where he instructed Norman Rockwell. In his auto-biography, My Adventures as an Illustrator, Rockwell spoke highly of Bridgeman.

Many of Bridgeman's books are still in print via Dover Publications.
