George Anderson was an early prominent member of the the Canadian national soccer team.
Anderson played full back for all of Canada's 7 games of their 1924 tour of Australia and Auckland. The Canadians finished with a win-lose-draw record of 2-3-2. His club time at this time was Ladysmith.
Anderson was a member of the 1928-29 New Westminster Royals, the team that won all British Columbia competitions as well as the Connaught Cup and was inducted into the British Columbia Sports Hall of Fame in 1979.
