The writer seems to imply that the series underwent a change after the first few episodes were recorded, or broadcast. This isn't true, the first series was scripted well in advance, and the shows recorded, usually in pairs, and editing completed, before transmission. The show's website, and, I think, IMDB, has details of recording and broadcast dates. I would like to remove the added material if the writer cannot cite his sources.
