[edit] Biography

Genetic Memory was started in 2005 by drummer Jeremy Doss and guitarist Elias Rodriguez. Soon after they were formed they started seeking members around their high school. They soon met bassist Ned Gayle, whom brought along keyboard player, Riley Harrington. The band rarely practiced before Elias moved to New Mexico.

Soon after the loss of their only guitarist, Genetic Memory started searching for another guitarist who could fill Elias's shoes. Soon the band recruited guitarist Cody Moore, whom brought Justin Hafer. The band was now complete minus a singer.

After months of practice the band booked their first show at the Funtime Skating Rink Battle of the Bands. Riley's older brother Stu Harrington sang for that show. The show was a hit with Genetic Memory coming out victorious.

Stu Harrington left for college leaving the band, once again, without a singer. After much searching, the band found Andrew Péna, guitarist for the metal act Tridium.
