Geir Rasmussen is one of the founders of the .name top-level domain and is currently the CEO of The Global Name Registry (GNR). Previously Mr Rasmussen was a founder of the personal email provider Nameplanet.com a company that was sold to Mailbank.com/Netidentity.com and is now part of Tucows.
