[edit] Globalindustrial

A tag has been placed on Globalindustrial, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. P4k 21:20, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

You might try creating a user subpage, such as User:Gec.gsmith/Globalindustrial and writing the page out there, or, yes, at the sandbox. Then when you have it how you like, copy and paste into Globalindustrial. If you are confident that the page you have "drafted" asserts the notability of the company, per WP:CORP, and is written neutrally, then recreate the page. It should not be tagged for speedy deletion if it clearly states why the company is notable, is written like an encyclopedia article that covers the company, not an ad or promotion, and is referenced. If you cannot find independent secondary sources that report on the company in a non-trivial fashion, it probably does not meet the criterion for inclusion in Wikipedia. Feel free to contact me again if you have further questions. GoodnightmushTalk 14:41, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Global logo 250px.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Global logo 250px.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 03:35, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Commercial use of Image:200px archival building.jpg

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:200px archival building.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:200px archival building.jpg is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:200px archival building.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. [edit] Image tagging for Image:200px catalog img.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:200px catalog img.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Global logo 250px.jpg

Image:Global logo 250px.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Non-free use disputed for Image:Global logo 250px.jpg

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Global logo 250px.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:06, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Global Industrial

The article Global Industrial has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. JLaTondre 23:49, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

I suggest you start by reading WP:COI and WP:NPOV. Global Industrial was deleted as blatant advertising. The article was designed to promote the company and not provide an objective, neutral encyclopedic article. This was compounded by your repeating the article on your userpage and creating multiple redirects to the article to capture possible search terms. If you believe an encyclopedic article can be written on this subject, you are welcome to create one. However, please become familiar with our content guidelines first. If the recreated page is once more an ad and not an article, it will be deleted again. Also, please ensure it cites sources that are verifiable and reliable or it will also risk deletion. Thanks. -- JLaTondre 17:39, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your Userpage Deleted as Advertising

Your userpage is not to be used as advertising or as a pseudo-article. It is available for personal information about yourself. When adding personal information please remember that Wikipedia is not MySpace. Your userpage is for anything that is compatible with the Wikipedia project. It is a mistake to think of it as a homepage: Wikipedia is not a blog, webspace provider, or social networking site. Please see Wikipedia:Introduction and Wikipedia:User page for more information. Thanks. -- JLaTondre 23:49, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
