[edit] Opel Kapitän

The article ignores completely the fact, that Pobeda was built on production lines of Opel Kapitän (and thus heavily based on), brought to the Soviet Union as war reparations from Germany after the war. -91.32.200.162 15:12, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

Can you prove that Pobeda was built on production lines of Opel Kapitän, and that it was heavily based on it? First drawings of Pobeda appeared in 1944, before war's end. It had modern unitized body construction, not old-style body-on-frame, like Opel and like most American cars of that time. It did not have separate wings like most cars of that time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mikus (talkcontribs) 00:55, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
